What data does AI process? The AI may analyze your training logs, technique names, submissions and taps data, training duration, intensity, frequency, and any injury notes you choose to enter.

What AI does NOT do: Our AI does not score, rank, or predict your performance. It does not make any decisions that have legal or material effects on you. All AI outputs are informational and educational only—designed to help you reflect on your training journey.

We use third-party AI providers (which may include services like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) to power these features. These providers act as data processors on our behalf. Data shared with AI systems is anonymized to protect your privacy.

Health-Related Information

BJJ Notes allows you to optionally record injury information as part of your training logs. This feature is entirely voluntary.

How injury data is used: Any injury information you enter is used solely for:

Personal journaling and progress tracking
Training reflection and pattern awareness
Inclusion in AI-generated summaries (if you have entered injury notes)

Important: BJJ Notes is a training journal, not a medical application. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. The app does not process medical records or professional health assessments. If you have health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
